I've encountered a problem building the 2.6.1 distribution from source:

[translation:ERROR] /tmp/usession-release-2.6.1-0/platcheck_54.c:79:19:
error: expat.h: No such file or directory

I don't remember encountering this before, but most of my earlier builds
were probably on Mac OS X.

My guess is the error results from a non-standard expat location:

% find /opt/TWWfsw/ -name 'expat.h'
/opt/TWWfsw/libexpat20/include/expat.h

I saw nothing about how to deal with this in the instructions. Searching
the source, I saw no instances of things like LDFLAGS or CPPFLAGS which I'm
used to using in other build environments. How do I specify these oddball
locations to PyPy?

I'm using OpenSuSE 12.2, which I doubt will work with any of the PyPy
binaries. Would love to be proved incorrect though.

Thx,

Skip Montanaro
