Heads-up from the heptapod team about some expected downtime on Monday Matti -------- Forwarded Message --------
Dear all With the Clever Cloud systems team, we are scheduling the upgrade of foss.heptapod.net to 0.12 for next Monday. This is an exceptionally difficult migration, because we are crossing two major GitLab versions. We knew already that it would take 1h minimum. We've been giving it a try on a testing server this afternoon. It looks like it's more 10h than just 1h (not finished as I'm writing this). All this time is mostly spent waiting, so there's room for improvement, and I'm going to investigate that, but don't have so much time, and testing the migration is itself very time consuming. We'll do another run on Friday with what I'll be able to come up with. Bottom line: better prepare users for a whole day of downtime next Monday.
