Issue 667 https://bugs.pypy.org/issue667 again I suppose. I noticed that that
patch is no longer in the tree. 

On the other hand, that ncurses configuration is common, so I suspect that pypy
is trying to spot it in some other way that doesn't work with my system (Gentoo
but not using ebuilds to compile pypy). Grepping for tinfo doesn't give me
anything relevant. 

How does pypy try to detect the existence of libtinfo?
