Johan Rade <[email protected]> added the comment: I tried to run some tests to see what happens when you override the other slots. But then I discovered something surprising:
The derived metaclass crashes even if you do not override any slots. I have uploaded an example Foo4 that demonstrates this behavior. You compile and run Foo4 the same way as Foo3. With CPython 2.7.6 Test4.py runs, which is the expected behavior.
