Thanks for the input, but for all my efforts I am still not able to find any missing or troublesome headers that stop me from building PyQt. I have verifies that only the most current sip (3.8) is in the path of my system. If there is a way to "merge" the sip and PyQt trees and buid them together I'd like to here it. Perhaps PyQt should have a --sipdir= configuration option?
