According to the ChangeLog, the default installation directory for pyuic is /usr/local/bin:
The default installation directory for pyuic under UNIX/Linux
is now /usr/local/bin rather than where the Python executable
is installed.
The configure.in script in PyQt 3.11 seems to disagree:
$ python configure.py -h
Usage:
[...]
-b dir where pyuic and pylupdate will be installed
[default /usr/local/python-2.3.3/bin]Which is correct?
