There are packages for PyKDE 3.11alpha6 at people.debian.org. Dependencies:
kdelibs4 (>= 4:3.2.2), libc6 (>= 2.3.2.ds1-4), libgcc1 (>= 1:3.3.3-1), libqt3c102-mt (>= 3:3.2.3), libstdc++5 (>= 1:3.3.3-1) Feedback for upstream (Jim): builds without problems with KDE 3.2.2. I've removed python-qt3 from people.debian.org, as it has been sitting on the Debian official repositories since a week, or so. Provided packages: python-kde3 (install this, it will pull python2.3-kde3) python2.3-kde3 (the real thing) python-kde3-doc (examples) Only i386. My iBook has not RAM enough (only 256MB) to build this beast, and trashing is not an option :-), so no powerpc this time. I expect an upgrade to 640MB to happen this monday (or thursday, if I'm out of luck). Anyway, I've uploaded the source package too, so you can build it on your system. Just one hint: DON'T build it with G++ 3.3.2; some versions have a nasty bug w.r.t. namespaces and just won't build things like kdecore. _______________________________________________ PyKDE mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mats.imk.fraunhofer.de/mailman/listinfo/pykde
