It is really hard to generate a UI that suits everybody. If you put stuff 
in submenus, people object because the would like to have direct access. 
If you don't or include more menus in the main menu bar, other people 
object because their screen is too small. If you make the menus 
configurable, people object, that there is already too much in eric, 
that can be configured.

What shall I do? Maybe there is a UI specialist reading this, who could 
sketch an optimal menu layout.
