Hello, I just compiled and installed sip-snapshot-20050430. I noticed that SIP_VERSION in sip.pyd is 0x040201, so there seems to be no way for me to detect at runtime the use of the snapshot version. sipconfig has a 'sip_version_str' string which pyqt's configure uses, but I would like to depend on sip.pyd only.
