Huh? Since when is Gentoo net bleeding-edge anymore? The last release of
PyQt3 is 3.15.1, according to the website...

Yep. You're right but it isn't stable.
3.15.1 and others after 3.13.0 are marked ~x86 so by default gentoo
install 3.13.0.
