I'm slightly confused here because you are referring to Qt-free on Windows, which I believe is only relevant if we're talking about Qt 3 - if by Qt-free
you mean the unofficial port of Qt/X11 to Windows.

Which version of Qt are you using?

Sorry, I was sloppy with my terminology. I'm using the qt/windows open source edition, 4.2.3.
