prepending its stuff to an already existent PATH (don't know if

Qt GPL replaces your PATH. Qt Commercial updates your path. I assume that
there is a good reason for the difference.
FWIW, I can't see why this difference is important. Surely MinGW can compile
by just having its binary directory somewhere in the path.
