The only thing I test with is the version of MinGW that the Qt binary
installer will install for you. It will provide you with a command shell with
everything set up.
Sorry Phil, where is that installed? How do I start it? Are you now
suggesting I use some shell provided by MinGW? I'm really not
attached to any particular shell or way of doing it. In fact,
anything to get me this build done with asap, I will do. If you can
provide the details I would appreciate, because I'm just wasting time
dabbling away right now.
It would be VERY useful if detailed instructions on exactly what you
do to build PyQt were provided on a wiki/website, etc.. I mean, all
details, commands typed, etc. "Building PyQt for dummies", how about
that?
