I've been getting an error in a pyqt which uses python-dbus QMutex::lock: Deadlock detected in thread -1232
After me spending a week tearing out of hair, Thiago from Trolltech worked out it was the Oxygen KDE theme loading QtDbus which conficts with python-dbus. He says he'll fix it soonish but a workaround in the mean time is --style plastique (or rm oxygen.so).
