Hi Phil,
is there a specific reason why the variable sip_bin defined within
sipconfig.py contains a full path to the sip binary, but without
extension on Windows?
It is a little inconsistent, because the pathname does not really exist
on disk, and it works when invoked just because the shell completes it.
I also have a pending patch to sipdistutils (which I will submit soon)
which needs access to the actual file on disk.
