Hello everyone,

My name is Ogi (@j9ac9k on github), and I help maintain pyqtgraph. I want
to post here to attempt to recruit more maintainers to the library.

We have been having trouble keeping up with our issue tracker (which isn't
growing super rapidly or anything) as well as keeping the outstanding PR
count down.

Ideally you will have had a history of contributing to the pyqtgraph
codebase, be comfortable with git, have working knowledge of numpy and some
familiarity with Qt. Bonus points if you have OpenGL expertise.

If you are a long-time user of pyqtgraph, but don't think you have the
bandwidth to contribute to the library on a semi-regular basis, we could
still use your help!. This can come in the form of testing outstanding
pull requests to identify issues before merging.

If you want to be a volunteer to help make the library healthier/better, or
if you have any questions, please reach out.

Thanks,
Ogi
