Hi Sebastian,

if You are on windows You can use easy_install to install binary packages from 
PyPI in virtualenv without problems.

I don't think, ccache is the answer here.  It just speeds up
recompilations, but not the initial compilation.  But exactly this
epic first compilation I'd like to shorten, redundant recompilations
can prevented anyway by checking for installed bindings before.

Moreover the bootstrap script should just work, and not require ccache
configuration to get reasonable a compilation time.  After all, the
target audience are python developers, whose daily work scarcely
requires compilers.  Most don't even know about such tools like
ccache.
