It's the first time I heard of fabric, and now looking at its website (http://docs.fabfile.org/0.9.3/), It looks very interesting for use with N900 in Python application testing and deployment. Would you mind adding a few notes about your environment setup to http://wiki.maemo.org/PyMaemo/Quick_start_guide (and maybe a mention to it on http://wiki.maemo.org/PyMaemo/Scratchboxless_packaging_guide) ? Feel free to create a separate page under http://wiki.maemo.org/PyMaemo If you think your instructions would not fit on these pages. At least the pip + virtualenv setup could have a dedicated page as an alternative to installing .deb's or using application manager.
