As always, a shameless plug: Try out the PySide buildscripts :) http://qt.gitorious.org/pyside/buildscripts They allow you to build PySide from source (Git repositories) and install into your $HOME, so that you don't have any conflicts with system-wide installed packages. This is ideal for developing on the bleeding edge of PySide development. Feel free to contribute patches for distributions not supported yet. The buildscripts support most of the biggest Linux distributions out there, and if it does not work with your distribution, feel free to contribute a patch :) They also support Mac OS X, but I haven't tested it in Windows.
