Hi Ygor, Unfortunately PySide was not accepted in GSOC this year as a organization. Some guys give the idea of try submit something under the python umbrella[1]. You can try submit the project, check the site and the rules. In my opinion the port to python 3.x will be more easy to be accept, because they are prioritizing the python 3.0 applications.
Porting PySide to 3.x looks like a great job to do. I will try to submit PySide, but I need some help: (copypasting...)
At least three developers (name, email, phone, link_id) involved in PySide must register accounts on http://socghop.appspot.com/gsoc/profile/mentor/google/gsoc2011?org=python as you'll be asked to provide their "link_id"'s below. One of them will be the primary contact point for adding additional mentors, student rankings within the project, and for any trouble that comes up related to one of the mentors or students in the program.
