Hi list,
my name is Peter Bouda, I am working as a researcher living in Portugal
and Germany, and am very interested in supporting the PySide project in
the future. I am currently writing a book about PyQt and PySide (in
German), so I am more on the User side right now. But I am willing to
contribute to the code of PySide, too. Or write documentation.
I am not very familiar with Open Source development (I only send patches
to projects from time to time...), though, so PySide could be a starter
for me how to contribute to OS software. I don't really know how OS
projects handle this in general; but how about some kind of PySide
developer conference/meeting to kickstart the community development? I
could offer our facilities in Portugal or find a place in Germany for
this, and help to organize things. But I would also come to Brazil or
some other place. Maybe right now there is even some money left at Nokia
to sponsor such an event...?
