The reason I worry about 1.0.8 is that Spyder IDE version 2.1.0 is going to be released this Wednesday with an official PySide support. 1.0.8 fixes http://bugs.pyside.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1019 which affects appearance and behavior of search dialogs in the IDE.
