Hi,

I had a question about using ptrepack.

I have recently moved around and also deleted some data in a number
of my hdf files using pytables and I now want to compact my files
(Section 5.7 of the User Manual) using ptrepack to reduce the file
size and optimize IO.

I've taken a look at the ptrepack documentation and understand how I
might use it to copy data from one file to the other but remain
unsure about how to compact my files.

If anyone can throw out a few example lines that would be great.

If it helps here is my setup:

- Linux i686
- HDF files with a handful of groups hanging off root. Each of these
groups contains a bunch of metadata and a number of arrays (put
there from numpy).

Thanks,

Dan
