Hi,

I'm pleased to say that I've just merged the link support in trunk. For those
of you that don't know about HDF5 links, they are similar to filesystem links.
They come in three flavors: hard, soft and external. Hard and soft are like
hard and symbolic links in a UNIX filesystem, while external links are similar
to mounting a filesystem (HDF5 file) into another (other HDF5 file, although
there are some subtle differences). In 'examples/links.py' there is a small
tutorial on how to use them.

The interested people may give the implementation a try. In case they find
some glitch or can devise an improvement in the API, please tell me. We are
still in time to change things.

Cheers,
