Hi everyone,
Since 2.6 is eol since a while now I'd like to drop support for it in pytest 2.9
This would allow to get rid of various bug workarounds and remove various
expensive to implement 2.6 only bugs from out plate
Feedback on twitter was positive, and its generally suggested to drop 2.6
unless someone pays for continued support.
If somebody really needs python 2.6 they can still pin pytest 2.8.
