This is a little trick for me I think. I'm supposed to attend Monitorama in PDX which is 27-29 June so right in between these dates. As that's for work and we're suppose to sponsor I imagine I'll be very busy just before. The week after might be better but I'd miss the start I imagine and as my boss is taking that time off already I'm not sure I can abandon the others in the office. Sadly that's shortly followed by Europython which I think work will also be sponsoring so I probably can't really skip that either. So for me earlier in June or late July/August would would better. But if I'd have to choose from the above the 2nd option is probably the better. > Funding: we'll do a Indiegogo or betterplace.org campaign and ask > companies and individuals to help come up with funding for travel > costs, lodging and food for participants. I will try to see if I can get my work to contribute (no guarantees though ;-)), but I'd need an invoice for that. Maybe something like that could be easier done by directly buying one of the long-distance plane tickets or so however so probably not a great deal.
