Hi Ronny, If we abolish the features branch and still honor semantic versioning, it is very likely that every other release will increase the minor version... so we would have pytest 2.20.0 by the end of the year or so. :)
I don't really mind it, but others may dislike this. I don't have a preference over this matter, but would like to hear other's opinion on this. Cheers, Bruno.
