Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound that way. I was just making reference to a concept elucidated elsewhere -- invoking an "argument pattern", so to speak.-) What I'm saying is that, because the object returned by iter() not only has a different interface but a different *function*, it doesn't seem to fit the notion implied to me by "adaptation".
