Anyway, I would think we could remove the following platforms:

* AtheOS

This one probably shouldn't be dropped, it is a fairly new OS.

* SunOS 5
AKA Solaris from version 2 upto at least 9 (I haven't played with Solaris 10 so can't say if that still uses a sunos 5 kernel).
