Just a quick comment on the discussion in general: It seems that there are a number of modules which fall in to the set of "widely used, but obscure and/or unmaintained". Perhaps what is needed is to annotate the list of modules to be dropped with a set of prerequisite conditions - i.e. what has to happen before a particular module can be removed.
It also seems to me that a few of these items don't need to be dropped so much as refactored - so that Py3K will have the same functionality, but with a cleaner and more orthogonal interface. -- Talin _______________________________________________ Python-3000 mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-3000 Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-3000/archive%40mail-archive.com
