Very relevant, indeed. I will think about the "callback" option to convert both keys and values (in both directions). This would be very nice if pybsddb classes could be subclassed, inplementing in the subclass the appropiate conversion methods. But this is not going to be ready for 2.6/3.0. Performance would be an issue, though. Although any code demanding the callback conversion functions would do the conversion directly, so paying for this work in a way or another. - -- Jesus Cea Avion _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] - http://www.jcea.es/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ jabber / xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ . _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "Things are not so easy" _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "My name is Dump, Core Dump" _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "El amor es poner tu felicidad en la felicidad de otro" - Leibniz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBSKO9IZlgi5GaxT1NAQJ6aQQAoHKpyoRV28IAbD7v2UJZe/53Dz2t3krf on9ojRTH1e/VhpOdNusLuvp5CurrWCtZqcvLViOKP/qIpLs8Q2M0lw5y35q15FIh s8UpW+qmW+w5zaU8iQDrr8jjw9jFtHlkoDw5XD2hA/vRh4AIOHiXFN5Nta6GZtGd LC3XvyYAQu0= =ph+v -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Python-3000 mailing list Python-3000@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-3000 Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-3000/archive%40mail-archive.com
