Category: Build Group: Python 2.4 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Invalid Priority: 5 Submitted By: Mattias Ekholm (ekholm) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: usage of type "char*" instead of "const char*" Initial Comment: I suspect that this is problem is not only related "char*", but to most types used in the Python C API. For "char*" is quite hard to sircumvent. Is there any plan to use const for all function parameters when the function is not altering its arguments? regards Mattias ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Terry J. In any case, Python is written in C89, not C++ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105470&aid=1228053&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
