Oh, drat.  We could have figured this out much sooner if I'd been paying closer 
attention.  I was testing based on current 2.7 tip instead of 2.7.1, and indeed 
this test bug was only recently (April 4th!) fixed.  And the issue is indeed 
selinux; the fix was to the regex to take into account the selinux extra 
attributes.  My apologies for dragging you through unnecessary debugging :(

As for the other issue, please open a new ticket.  (The pseudo-code, by the 
way, is saying that all three sizes must be the same.)
