Paul A. <[email protected]> added the comment: Apparently my memory was faulty the other day... 2.7.2 does crash the same way as Python-2.7.3rc2 on this box. I opened a new bug report for that, so will close this one. I'll also sign up for core-mentorship as you suggest, and see what I can do to help.
