Indeed, the current implementation map_async simply ignores the callback
arguments:
def map_async(self, func, iterable, chunksize=None, callback=None,
error_callback=None):
'''
Asynchronous version of `map()` method.
'''
return self._map_async(func, iterable, mapstar, chunksize)
