R. David Murray added the comment: I don't think you missed anything. It doesn't look like this has ever worked, but you'd certainly think it would. The documentation doesn't claim anything about it one way or another. That probably means we should treat it as an enhancement rather than a bug fix, but I'm open to argument on that.
