I run this now in the beginning of my code. As far as I can see it works
fine.

setattr(SafeThread, "_Thread__bootstrap_inner",
SafeThread._Thread__bootstrap)
setattr(SafeThread, "_Thread__bootstrap", SafeThread.encaps)
threading.Thread = SafeThread
