On Windows, even with this change, I get for example:

   # remaining {'encodings.mbcs', '__main__', 'encodings.cp1252'}
   ...
   [22081 refs, 6742 blocks]

or

   # remaining {'__main__', 'encodings'}
   ...
   [23538 refs, 7136 blocks]
