New submission from Serhiy Storchaka: Here is a patch which removes PY_VERSION_HEX checks in Modules/_ctypes/_ctypes.c, Modules/_sre.c, Objects/stringlib/unicodedefs.h and removes the Modules/_sqlite/sqlitecompat.h file.
