New submission from Anatoly Belikov:
bytearray.fromhex(hex(434)[2:])
throws ValueError: non-hexadecimal number found in fromhex() arg at position 2
Strangely it works with leading zero:
bytearray.fromhex('0' + hex(438)[2:])
