Ned Deily added the comment: Upon further investigation, the issues I saw building a universal Python when using a current default Xcode SDK were due to the introduction in Xcode 7 of the new textual stub libraries in SDKs, the problem described in Issue25136. So I'm closing this issue as a duplicate of that one.
