New submission from Serhiy Storchaka: Proposed patch excludes the private API from the stable API. This includes:

Many of these functions were added after implementing PEP 384 and changed its signature during its lifetime. They are not explicitly exclude from the stable API only by accident. ---------- components: Interpreter Core files: private_limited_api.diff keywords: patch messages: 264591 nosy: haypo, loewis, serhiy.storchaka priority: normal severity: normal stage: patch review status: open title: Exclude the private API from the stable API type: enhancement versions: Python 3.6 Added file: http://bugs.python.org/file42670/private_limited_api.diff _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue26900> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
