Amaury Forgeot d'Arc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> added the comment: I think I narrowed the problem to a race condition in *subclasses* of threading.local: In threadmodule.c::local_getattro, there is a chance that self->dict is changed before PyObject_GenericGetAttr is called.
