David added the comment: Also, just to clarify, I want this to be a regular installation of Python wherein I can associate .py files with IDLE (i.e. when I double click on a .py file, it takes me straight to the code) *as well as* having the option to "Edit with IDLE" when right-clicking on a .py file. For some reason, on this machine, I'm not able to replicate the same installation as on my other Windows machine not matter how much I try.
