Steve Dower added the comment: Thanks for the link! I've reported it to the C Runtime team and they'll get it fixed. (Because this is an operating system component, the fix will come through normal Windows Updates and apply to any version of Python 3.5+, so I'd rather not build a workaround into the product for it.)
