New submission from John J Lee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: The tutorial says:
"The Python interpreter is usually installed as /usr/local/bin/python on those machines where it is available" Shouldn't that be "python3" or "python-3.0"? And the same throughout the rest of the tutorial? make install seems to think that Python 3 should not be installed as "python", and should be installed as "python-3.0". ---------- assignee: georg.brandl components: Documentation messages: 71268 nosy: georg.brandl, jjlee severity: normal status: open title: Interpreter name: python vs. python-3.0 versions: Python 3.0 _______________________________________ Python tracker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <http://bugs.python.org/issue3577> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
