Nick Coghlan <ncogh...@gmail.com> added the comment: Just noting that while I've closed this issue as fixed, I think we still have quite a bit of work to do to get our handling of these pre-init config settings to a place we're genuinely happy with (or as happy as backwards compatibility constraints permit).
