Tested on an AIX system: [pablo@ibm_machine cpython (master)]$ uname -a AIX ibm_machine 1 7 ******* powerpc ******** AIX [pablo@ibm1 cpython (master)]$ ./python -m test test_peg_generator 0:00:00 Run tests sequentially 0:00:00 [1/1] test_peg_generator == Tests result: SUCCESS == 1 test OK. Total duration: 5.0 sec Tests result: SUCCESS I will mark this issue as fixed as It was failing before on this machine and now the test suceeds.
