Tarek Ziadé <ziade.ta...@gmail.com> added the comment: I don't see the point of making mkpath and remove_tree more verbose than what they are now.
log.info is called in both function and verbose is never used. So I guess the best way to activate verbose is to make its default value to 1 and change the code so log.info calls are made when verbose=1, and are not made if verbose=0. This way, the known verbosity is not changed and can be cut down if needed. Now for create_tree, it will pass the verbose value to mkpath. Last, copy_tree will act the same way and pass along verbose to copy_file. ---------- resolution: -> accepted _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue1276768> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
