STINNER Victor <[email protected]> added the comment:
python.o is the object file build by the C compiler from Programs/python.c. I
don't see why anyone would need such object file.
Programs/python.c:
---
/* Minimal main program -- everything is loaded from the library */
#include "Python.h"
#ifdef MS_WINDOWS
int
wmain(int argc, wchar_t **argv)
{
return Py_Main(argc, argv);
}
#else
int
main(int argc, char **argv)
{
return Py_BytesMain(argc, argv);
}
#endif
